·   Owners Project Management team with direct oversight of the Massachusetts Broadband Institute -123 Project, a 1200 mile fiber optic network build throughout 123 communities in Western Massachusetts. CABLEVISION OF BOSTON, Boston, MA                               1985-2001

 

Outside Plant Manager (1998-2001)

Oversight for the duties and responsibilities of the field engineering and outside plant maintenance departments for Boston/Brookline and surrounding communities comprised of 1200 miles of plant, 320,000 homes passed and approximately 170,000 customers.

 

·   Responsible for the daily management of all technical personnel for the maintenance and advancement of services via the HFC plant from the headend to the home through the development of training, policies and procedures.

·   Oversight for the duties and responsibilities of supervisors, foremen and technical personnel aimed at ensuring technical compliance of the plant through federal, local and company standards.

·   Managed the plant construction department, aerial and underground, through physical plant maintenance and repair, new construction, permitting, contractor services, road re-construction, dig safe and re-build.

·               Assisted in development, preparation, and implementation of annual engineering capital and operational budgets.

·               Intimately involved in the rebuild/upgrade of the Boston/Brookline plant. Directly responsible for the technical acceptance               and verification of all contractor turn over packages including test documentation.
